David Bisbal nació el 7 de junio de 1979 en Almería, España. Sus padres son José Bisbal, boxeador profesional y miembro de un trío de músicos flamencos, y María Ferre Montoya. Es el menor de tres hermanos, un hermano llamado José María y una hermana llamada María del Mar. De niño, Bisbal demostró su talento para la interpretación, pero siempre fue muy tímido a la hora de hacerlo en público.
